We develop software that provides our clients with the opportunity to build their own business online. There are different products and services united within the sole cloud operating system based on SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) using web services and web-native applications. These include building websites and e-commerce shops, bookkeeping, marketing and advertising, payment solutions, third-party services, consultancy services, education and advertising.

The Business Idea

Looking at myself as a client of various online software providers, I am sure that the need for a particular service arises at once. During the work, I need to do something and I start looking for an online program or service that can satisfy my immediate need. For example, I am writing an article and I need illustrations, or I create my website and I need a program or service to create it. It pulls other needs along the way — you need an email address, a telephone for communication, product descriptions, images, and more. Being engaged in accounting and working in my company, I need to manage payments, invoices, documents, warehouse staff and other million things.

Usually, the search for such programs distracts me from working and takes a lot of time. Moreover, since I need this service here and right now, being in time trouble, I choose not the best option to the one that comes handy and will less satisfy my needs. The second big problem for such services is payment – perhaps, I only need just one picture or I need to make just one mailing list but I cannot do it cost effectively because all providers charge for a month or even a year or offer a free period during which they greatly limit the functionality.

And this is not all the problems that I faced. As a result of my work, I have a huge array of data (files, databases, images, lists, documents, etc.) which either cannot be automatically linked with each other for further work with them or it will require such an investment of time and money that will make this idea not cost effective.

And finally, the cherry on the cake – is the cost of all the services that various and scattered contractors provide me – in the end, from the seemingly small payments for each service (within 10–20 pounds per month on average), it adds up to perceptible hundreds or even thousands of pounds to be paid.

In my description of the working day or the time that I devote to business, I missed many more negative factors that arise from this state of affairs – I lose concentration while I have to be distracted either to find login and password from the next service or by searching for the service itself. After a very short time, my work and information is in a million different places, the safety of which is unknown. Using various payment methods and paying to many different suppliers as a result, I often found myself in a situation when the payment did not go through and I needed these particular services. In addition, as an entrepreneur, it becomes harder and harder to keep records of such costs.

You can talk about difficulties and problems for a long time – this is not data compatibility, holes in security, the inability to find the exact document you need right away, the unjustified time spent, the loss of money due to the lack of a single supplier and the inability to use cumulative discounts, difficulties in using data because of their incompatibility,
